Detroit River Days -Detroit, Michigan
One of Detroit’s most popular summer events, the 3-day Detroit River Days festival celebrating Detroit’s maritime, ecological and culinary culture attracts thousands of visitors each year with a host of family oriented events, eco-friendly children’s activities, Jet-skis, tall ships and boat tours, towering sand sculptures, and live concerts highlighting local, national and international musicians.
This one of a kind festival takes place along the Detroit Riverfront in West Riverfront Park – the future site of Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Centennial Park. River Days is a celebration of Detroit’s Riverwalk with activities on land and water. Experience all the Riverwalk has to offer, from the jet-ski demos to live music, sand sculptures, delicious eats and much more!
Admission to River Days is $5 to support the non-profit Detroit Riverfront Conservancy and all paid admission attendees receive a wristband and $3 in food coupons to use at event food trucks. River Days is FREE to enter on Friday between 2pm-5pm.
